今日は – Konnichiwa ヾ(⌒ヮ⌒)ノ

My name is Morten, and I’m a 18 year old boy from the inner parts of Norway (though mostly I live in my own world… you should go there one day, it’s awesome-pawsome, I promise!!).
My main interests are chewing vegetables, slurping tea, or just whatever that annoys my friend, and co-writer Kini; and aside of that, I tend to love mostly anything which has to do with Japan and Japanese culture.
OMG kawaiiii!!  ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆  not.
(eating Pocky is super awesome, as it combines both of my interests, which again is yet another reason to eat more of them; YAY!!)

My love for Japan goes long back, to when I was a child and grew up watching a lot of japanese cartoons (anime) without even knowing they were from Japan (I just knew that I loved it, and easily watched it 2 or 3 hours a day, can’t have been especially healthy).
Now my love for Japan has grown to become such a big part of me, that I perhaps would want to live there for some years, and that is without even being there once yet (or at least until this summer).
.. My many good reasons for that shall be covered in a small series of posts that are to come.

The trip to Japan this summer is, as you may understand, meaning a lot to me, and is fulfilling one of my biggest dreams, which I’ve had for so long. It may also be the make or break moment, for whether I choose to go all in (and lead my life onto a path towards a life in Japan), or just let it be as big as a part of my life as it is for now.

Whatever happens, I’m sure it’ll be an unforgettable experience, that I’ll remember it for the rest of my life, and that I’ll meet many new friends who share the same love and interest with me for the world’s most wonderful country, Japan.
